How many guests can Haywood Hall House and Gardens accommodate for a reception?

Haywood Hall offers flexible options to suit the style of your event. Our picturesque garden is ideal for a lively cocktail-style reception and can comfortably host up to 300 guests, or it can be transformed into a beautiful tented setting for a seated reception of up to 175 guests. For more intimate gatherings, the historic interiors provide a warm and refined atmosphere for cocktail receptions of up to 75 guests.

What is included in the venue rental rate?

You’ll enjoy access to both the historic house and beautifully landscaped gardens for the full duration of your celebration.

To ensure a seamless experience, a dedicated venue host will be on-site throughout your event. Couples marrying at Haywood Hall also receive added value, including a one-hour daytime photography session with your photographer and a complimentary one-hour rehearsal.

Is parking available for guests?

Yes. For your convenience, Haywood Hall is located directly across from Public Lot 20, offering free public parking during evenings and weekends.

How do I book my wedding/event date?

Booking your date at Haywood Hall begins with an in-person tour of our historic house and gardens. To get started, please complete our Contact Form, and our team will be happy to schedule your private tour and guide you through the next steps to secure your date.

May I choose my own vendors?

Yes- with thoughtful flexibility to ensure a seamless and exceptional event experience. While you are welcome to bring in many of your preferred vendors, Haywood Hall requires the use of a venue-approved event planner or a professional day-of coordinator. This requirement allows you to relax and fully enjoy your celebration with confidence.

May I choose my own caterer?

Absolutely. Haywood Hall allows you the freedom to select your own licensed and insured full-service caterer, giving you the flexibility to create a menu that perfectly reflects your style and tastes. All catering services must receive venue approval to ensure a seamless experience. To make the process even easier, we’re happy to share our list of preferred caterers.

Are there additional fees or service charges?

We believe in clear, straightforward pricing at Haywood Hall. Our rental fees are fully transparent, with no hidden or surprise charges, so you can plan your wedding with or event with confidence.

Your rental includes a fixed, clearly define timeframe. Should you wish to extend your celebration, additional hours may be requested for an added fee, subject to availability.

When does the wedding rehearsal take place?

Your wedding rehearsal is thoughtfully coordinated around Haywood Hall’s event schedule. To ensure a smooth and well-planned experience, your rehearsal date and time is confirmed by the Haywood Hall team no later than 30 days prior to your wedding.

Can we host our Rehearsal Dinner at the venue following the Rehearsal?

Absolutely. We would be delighted to host your rehearsal dinner at Haywood Hall. We offer discounted rates when you book both your rehearsal dinner and wedding with us. This has the added benefit of ensuring you have your preferred date and time for your wedding rehearsal.

What if it rains?

In the event of rain, your event planner or day-of-coordinator will have a rain plan in place to ensure your day continues effortlessly. Depending on your guest count, your event will be hosted either inside the house for up to 75 guests or under a tent in the garden.

Are dogs allowed at the venue during an event?

Yes! We’re happy to welcome your furry family members for those special moments. Dogs are allowed for photography sessions, rehearsals and wedding ceremonies provided they remain outdoors and are well supervised

Is the event space wheelchair accessible?

Yes, absolutely. We are pleased to offer a handicapped-accessible entrance to the house as well as accessible restrooms, ensuring that all guests can comfortably enjoy your event.

Are there any other events happening during my wedding or event?

Your event has our full attention. We host only one wedding or event per day ensuring a personalized experience for you and your guests.
